About: This webinar led by Arco Mechanical will cover gas detection systems and required testing. Most large facilities with enclosed parking garages, chiller plants and loading docks have gas detection systems that pick up the toxics and refrigerant leaks. These systems turn on ventilation, or if levels continue to rise, annunciate alarms.  These are wall mounted ‘fixed’ sensors and ALL sensors will drift over time. In many cases, these sensors are not getting tested/calibrated as they should. This webinar will cover the basic applications, types of systems and the required testing and best practices to keep these systems operating properly.  We will also cover the SCBA’s that many chiller rooms have and how to keep these units compliant.
