Air Comfort Honored With Vendor of the Year Award

CEAC recognized Air Comfort as its Vendor of the Year.

A preferred provider of HVAC services, maintenance, design/build and retrofit solutions, Air Comfort Corporation has served the Chicagoland area for more than 80 years. Now, the industry leader is being recognized with the Chief Engineer Vendor of the Year Award.

“It’s quite an honor to be selected for this award by the Chief Engineers. They’re the ones who get the job done and see the value their vendors offer,” said Tim Smerz, president of Air Comfort. “We provide a great deal of expertise and invest a lot in our capabilities, technicians and ongoing training and development. Our mechanics, technicians and pipefitters in the field all work directly with chief engineers to solve problems and come up with great ideas and great solutions.”

Specializing in a comprehensive suite of services, including preventative maintenance programs and 24-hour emergency service, the Air Comfort team has increased its capabilities as different client needs arise.

“We’re always striving to improve our customer service and grow with new technology,” said VP Mike DeVito.

The independent contractor also boasts one of the largest and most capable groups of chiller technicians in Chicago.

“Our applied technicians are a dedicated group who handle large equipment, like centrifugal chillers, absorption chillers and other large equipment you see in the downtown office buildings. At Air Comfort, we have a team of technicians dedicated solely to that type of equipment, and that’s all they do is maintain and service chillers and absorbers.”

Air Comfort has been recognized by the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) as an MSCA Gold Star contractor. The company also maintains an MCA Gold Standard Safety rating for their commitment to safety.
