Viledon Filter, a division of the Freudenberg Group, is pleased to announce
the development of the new-patented Mini compact filter. The Mini is manufactured
from tough durable integrated plastic components that will not come apart, rust
or corrode and will not fall out of filter holding frames due to moisture or
high humidity environments.
The unique mini-pleated synthetic media is moisture resistant and potted in
the frame to eliminate water and air bypass. The Mini can be purchased for front
load and side access AHU’s. The compact Mini has the lowest available pressure
drop of any product in its class even when compared to rigid filters three times
its depth. The compact Mini is available from roughing filters to medium/high
efficiency and carbon gas phase filter systems.
Ametek Process Instruments has developed a new process analyzer able to simultaneously
measure hydrogen (H2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) by engineering its new Model
931 Hydrogen Sulfide Analyzer to perform hydrogen analysis as well.
The modified version of the Model 931 reduces costs and system complexity by
eliminating the need for a separate analyzer to measure the hydrogen concentration.
Its dual capability is ideal for monitoring hydrogenation reactors that use
hydrogen to convert sulfur dioxide and other unreduced sulfur compounds into
hydrogen sulfide that is then scrubbed from the gas stream with an amine absorber
The standard Model 931 analyzer is a rugged, single-component UV photometric
gas analyzer housed in an explosion-proof package designed for a variety of
gas monitoring and process control applications. Using Ametek’s proprietary
high-resolution UV technology, the Model 931 is a flexible low-maintenance analyzer
designed to cost-effectively solve many process control and monitoring issues.

The Gamewell Company, a manufacturer of commercial fire alarm control panels
and emergency life safety systems, and part of Honeywell’s Fire Systems
Group, announced its IdentiFlex?602 analog addressable fire alarm control
panel. The latest in the 600 Series of control panels, the IF602 is ideally
suited for small to medium-sized installations of commercial, institutional,
and industrial life safety applications.
In addition to offering all the features and capabilities of its more powerful
siblings, the IF602 uses SmartLink? peer-to-peer protocol to connect up
to 250 network nodes for added flexibility to meet the most challenging design
applications. The innovative IF602 features SmartStart® advanced self-programming
and XP95 fully digital communications protocol, which allows for easy set-up
and compatibility with any type of new or existing wiring.
The IF602 automatically identifies and configures all system modules, circuits
and devices to default alarm mode.
