Kroeschell Opens New Office and Warehouse in Peoria

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Kroeschell is pleased to announce the opening of a new office/warehouse in Peoria, IL. The new site moves Kroeschell’s Operations Division from its original Southwest Water Street location in downtown Peoria to its new facility at 458 W. Camp Street, East Peoria, IL.

The space boasts a total of 25,000 SF, with a warehouse & fabrication shop just over 20,000 SF and offices totaling almost 5,000 SF. The move has tripled Kroeschell’s space, allowing them to take on larger metal fabrication projects as well as moving several personnel into permanent offices.

The President of the Operations Division, Bill Chambers, said that the new location brings the office team and metal fabrication shop under one roof. “Consolidation was a key reason for moving. We had three leases in central Illinois that we were able to consolidate to one. With our entire operation now located in the same building, we have seen communication between teams improve,” said Chambers.

The new space also provides the Operations Division with much higher visibility and ease of access. Chambers stated, “Our previous office was a suite located in a larger building, making it both difficult to see and access. The new location is a standalone facility, and the visibility on Camp Street could not be better. It makes it much easier for customers, employees and suppliers to access.”

Kroeschell completed the buildout on July 3, and the design maintains a similar look and feel to the corporate headquarters in Arlington Heights, IL. Other enhancements include a more robust training and orientation program. Each Kroeschell new hire will go through a minimum of three days training to learn and acclimate themselves to the company’s safety-driven culture.

The move provides the Operations Division with a consolidated location that can serve all their needs as well as their customers’ needs in one place. Chambers assured that, “It has really put a new face on Kroeschell in central Illinois!”
