Toyota recalls vehicles a second time.
Toyota announced a recall of about 780,000 vehicles previously recalled to correct weak rear tie rods due to the initial fix not working. The vehicles included in the recall are about 18,000 model year 2010 Lexus HS 250h vehicles, with the remainder made up of model year 2006-2011 Toyota RAV4 vehicles.

Ga. health institute cited for safety violations.
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited Atlanta Health Careers Institute in McDonough for failing to correct problems that were discovered during a 2012 inspection including failing to train employees in blood borne pathogens programs, and failing to offer Hepatitis B vaccine to workers. Penalties totaled $62,000.

Thousands of underground fuel tanks at risk of leaking.
An audit conducted by the Arizona Auditor General’s Office determined over half of the underground fuel storage tanks in the State are either reaching or have passed their 30-year life expectancy and are at risk of leaking gasoline, diesel fuel, and other chemicals into surrounding soil and groundwater.

Multiplayer video game servers abused for DDoS attacks, experts warn.
Prolexic warned that cybercriminals are increasingly abusing multiplayer gaming servers to make their distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks more efficient. Prolexic observed instances of gaming servers being used to launch DDoS attacks against financial services and online gaming targets.
