Winter is officially here as we can tell from the frigid temperatures and frost on our car windows. I gather everyone has taken the proper precautionary steps in preparing their facilities for the season. You should also have materials in stock for the snow and ice we are bound to experience. Safety should be top of mind during the winter season especially for those tending to largely populated facilities.
Also, please remember to utilize the Associate members when maintaining any of your equipment. They are experts in these fields and are there as a resource for you. You can only benefit from their assistance. And remember to tell them you found them through the Chief Engineers Association.
I would like to take this time to thank Mobile Air for the great job they did hosting the November meeting. Their team went above and beyond to put on a first class evening. From the food and drinks to the informative presentation of their services, Mobile Air didn’t skip a beat. It is the support of companies like this that help the CEAC to be such a successful organization. Thanks again to the Mobile Air team.
The next gathering will be the Christmas meeting taking place on December 19, 2012 at The Westin River North. As always, we ask that you bring a gift to donate to help a family in need. This year we will be supporting families of deployed National Guardsmen and women. These service men and women are risking their lives for the safety of our country, it is therefore our duty and the least we can do to provide some holiday cheer for their families.
I have also been informed that there are a select few sponsorships still available for the Christmas meeting. If any Associate members are interested please contact Alex at the office (708.293.1720) for more details. This is truly a great opportunity since this meeting is one of our highest attended events. Your company could present your products and services to over 350 people in one night! Don’t pass up this chance.
On behalf of the Chief Engineers Association of Chicagoland, I would like to wish you and your families and friends the happiest of holidays. I hope you have a blessed and safe Christmas and enjoy this time with your loved ones. We all have so much to be thankful for this time of year.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the annual Christmas meeting! It is sure to be a wonderful night!
